The Private Practice Register allows specialists and health professionals who are currently in or entering private practice to register with all major insurers using one, online secure system.
Instead of having to register individually and provide the same information multiple times independent practitioners are able to register on The Private Practice Register and:
- select which insurers they wish to apply for recognition
- keep a record of which insurers they have already recognised in one central place
- keep their capabilities and practice rights up to date
Once registered with The PPR we will send your details securely to all the private medical insurers you have applied for recognition with, they will be in touch concerning the progress and status of your application. Only subscribing insurers to The Private Practice Register will receive all the information you provide, you may need to supply further information to non-subscribing insurers as part of your application.
You will also be able to check the progress of your application via your online PPR profile.
